About Georgie and The Monarchs

Georgie and The Monarchs were a Northern Irish showband notable for including Van Morrison before joining rock group Them. They toured and played around the German clubs for some time, releasing their only single "O Twingy Baby" backed with "Boo Zooh" around late 1963. They broke up soon after, but reconvened in March of 2017 for a one-off gig at the Hollywood Yacht Club.
