
About George Soule
George Soulé was born in Meridian, Missisippi in 1945. Perhaps best known for his vocal performance on the 1973 single "Get Involved," Soulé has had a remarkable career as a songwriter. He wrote "Shoes," a 1970 hit for Brook Benton, as well as "Can't Stop a Man in Love," which was covered by both Bobby Womack and Carl Carlton. In addition, Soulé wrote "I'll Be Your Everything," a hit single for Percy Sledge. Although he had released several recordings under his own name
