About George Kollias
George Kollias is the current drummer for the American brutal death metal/technical death metal band Nile. He is the first of their four drummers to perform every song on more than one full length album, handling drum duties so far on Annihilation of the Wicked, Ithyphallic and Those Whom The Gods Detest. He is a native of Greece, born in Korinthos. Some of his favourite bands are Metallica, Kreator, Morbid Angel and Behemoth. He started playing drums at the age of twelve and some years later started drum lessons with John Stavropoulos
