About George Chatzis
George was born in 1979 in the north part of Greece in Kavala. In the age of six he began studying violin. In the same time he studied percussion and drums with his father John Chatzis. In 1997-1998 he was a member of the Symphonic Orchestra of Athens and from the year 2000 he is permanent member of the Orchestra Manos Hadjidakis (Orchestra of Colours). In 2002 he took the First Price in the 1st Pan-Hellenic Competition of Musical Composition
