About Gammalapagos
The band Gammalapagos was founded in Leipzig, Germany in 1999 on the occasion of a school project. The original line-up consisted of Jonas Fröbel (Voc, Git), Robert Junge (Git, Synth), Lars Wollmann (Bass) and Fabian Geyer (Drums). In the beginning the four school mates covered songs which can be described as (pop)rock/punk. They called themselves Lunchbox. The band began to perform live at school events and composed first songs which stylistically are close to the songs they covered earlier.
