About Gaea Spore
GÆA SPORE was born in Norman, OK in the winter of 1994 when five friends decided to form a band that defied the conventions of mass-market "guitar-rock." Tired of teen angst and formula "love" songs, they set out to write music that would redefine pop instrumentation and challenge listeners to expand their musical palettes. Transcending the limitations set upon them by conventional music and their lack of professional equipment, the newfound band recorded their first demo EP on a home stereo system dating back to the 1960's.
