Fuubutsushi is an American improvisational ambient jazz quartet formed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The band, consisting of Patrick Shiroishi, Chris Jusell, Chaz Prymek, and Matthew Sage, uses the Japanese concept of "Fuubutsushi" (風物詩) – the feeling of seasonal nostalgia – as inspiration for their music. They are known for their seasonally themed albums and remote collaborative recording process. Chris Jusell, Chaz Prymek (aka Lake Mary), Matthew Sage and Patrick Shiroishi. aka Jusell, Prymek, Sage, Shiroishi
