
FURIO DI CASTRI , born in Milano, september 12, 1955. He went to music at 11 years old, playing the trumpet. Move to the electric bass at age 13. Formerly he is a self-taught musician, beginning to play with rhythm and blues and progressive rock bands. He recorded his first album in 1973 (Dedalus, Trident records) then started with the double bass. In 1978 he moved to Rome, where he started to play with tenor saxophonist Maurizio Giammarco and with altoist Massimo Urbani.
