About Freek Bartels
Freek Bartels (Tilburg, October 24, 1986) is a Dutch singer and actor. He is mostly known for participating in "Op Zoek Naar Joseph"; in which he won the lead part of Joseph in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and for playing Enjolras in the 2008 Dutch edition of the musical Les Misérables. In 2001, Bartels started his education at the MusicAllFactory in Tilburg. In 2004 he started the Musical Theatre education at the Fontys Conservatorium, also in Tilburg, which he finished with honours.
