About Fred Fortin
Frederic Fortin (born May 5th 1971 in Dolbeau, Quebec - ) is a Quebec singer-writer-composer. Playing every instrument, this unusual character does his best to go against the critics and Quebec's establisment. He in fact believes that critics take his music much more seriously than he does himself... His debut album, appearing in 1996 and titled "Joseph Antoine Frédéric Fortin Perron", won many praise. It was then followed in 2000 by "Le plancher des vaches" and, in 2004, "Planter le décor".
