
Francisco Morera Cots (San Mateo, April 4, 1731 - Valencia, October 17, 1793), was a Spanish Composer and master of Baroque chapel. He was born on April 4, 1731 in San Mateo, in the province of Castellón. On April 1, 1741, he began to sing in the choir of the chapel of the Collegiate Church of Castellón. In the church he received musical instruction from the hand of the mosen José Pradas and was always grateful for his education. On April 31, 1747, he received a payment of 30 pounds for his services.
