His musical education was held as an infant of the choir of the Cathedral of Tarazona. In 1755 he is mentioned as a chapel master of the Cathedral of Tarazona in a competition he held in Zamora for the mastery of the Cathedral.1 In Tarazona he had succeeded the master Juan Antonio Ripa Blanque (1721-1795).
