About For Glory and Empire
For Glory and Empire is a progressive metal band based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. After writing an album worth of material, guitarist Thomas Miller hooked up with bassist Ryan Black, vocalist Ari Oh, and, after months of auditions, drummer Jake Howard. The quartet was born the band started playing shows around the Fort Wayne area and put out their first demo, To Take Arms. For Glory and Empire was forced to take a break when Thomas moved to Bloomington to attend IU and Ari moved across the country to attend USC in Los Angeles, California.
