About Flying Matchstick Men
Flying Matchstick Men are a band based in Glasgow, Scotland, whose music is influenced by artists such as bis, Roxy Music, The Yummy Fur and Pulp. Originally formed in Greenock by front-man Graham Peel, they released their debut album in 2003 on Too Many Fireworks Records. The Sleeping Sonqztq was a collaboration with producer grnr (Gavin Thomson), who was later to join the band permanently on bass. The band's first major label release was a double A-side on One Records/SonyBMG
