About Flor Silvestre
Flor Silvestre is one of Mexico's most successful singers and actresses. Her singing voice is admired by fans throughout the Americas. Her legacy includes more than 300 recorded songs of various genres. Her great beauty and charming personality graced more than 70 films. She began her career in 1943 with a performance at the Teatro del Pueblo in central Mexico City. Two years later, she was called the "Soul of Ranchera Song". In the late 1940s, she completed a long tour of Central and South America.
