About Floodplain
Excerpt taken from floodplainmusic.com: Floodplain began in the summer of 1994 after the demise of hard core band Serene. It was started by drummer Mike Torretta and guitarist Nate Jaqua, who were shortly joined by vocalist Matt Rezac and bassist Terry Taylor. Floodplain was started with a determination to accomplish: such as releasing records and playing out. The fuel behind its formation was to have fun playing music while retaining the purpose of communication and in hope of making a vital connection between emotions and sound.
