In 1984, Windsor, Ontario gave us a three-piece hardcore band known as The Flesh Columns. Doug Breault played guitar and sang, Brad Godin played bass and sang, and they even had a female drummer, Sue St. Denis. They were all teenagers when they made their one and only record, a four song 7" on Touch and Go Records. It was recorded by Corey Rusk, at "The Funeral Home" in Detroit in 1984. The record's title, Schweigen Vor Dem Sturm, is German for "calm before the storm."
