Five Starcle Men
About Five Starcle Men
Formed in the early 1990s, Five Starcle Men were an experimental outfit comprised of Lancaster, CA teenagers Luke McGowan and Glen Hobbs. Despite their short run, they had recorded over 40 tapes by the time Glen had committed suicide in 1998. The group has 4 "mainline releases": Sicicbral, Scunibro, Only Kids of Nothing Star, and Gomba Reject Ward Japan. The band's notoriety stems from an incident where in 2014, a "crazed fan" stole every Starcle master tape from Luke McGowan's home.
