About Firs
Firs is a Cincinnati duo consisting of Joey Cook (of Pomegranates) and Sophia Cunningham (of the Woodland Creatures). Joey sought out Sophia to collaborate with him for a side project, and now, a year later they have released two EPs with an LP on the way. Sophia and Joey make a fantastic musical team, indeed, with Joey's unusual voice matching beautifully with Sophia's classic female vocals all the while creating catchy, eerie, and sleepy tunes on synths and guitars.
