Capturing desolation through music. Fipohayo is a side-project from Jarren Crist that focuses on haunting ambient music, taking influences from genres of horror, drone, noise, and experimental music. These tracks fuse dark and unsettling soundscapes with a low-fidelity mix of mangled field recordings, distorted instruments, and washed out pads, Ultimately capturing a feeling of lonely despair, fear, and morbidity.
