Fátima Guedes (Rio de Janeiro, May 6, 1958) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. She began composing at the age of fifteen, and in 1973 she reached first place at the Hélio Alonso College Music Festival, with the song "Passional". She had songs recorded by Elis Regina, Maria Bethânia, Simone and Ney Matogrosso, among others. Biography She began her career as a composer in 1973, and three years later, her song “Passional” took first consecutive place at the Faculdade Hélio Alonso Music Festival (a college Festival in Rio).
