About Farfara
Farfara is a band from İstanbul whose members are Etkin Cekin, Tolga Böyük and Eralp Güven. A band which has invented itself with a psychedelic brew of kraut drums, shoegazing guitars, airy synths, ethereal vocals, lots of Love and a clear commitment to pop. Etkin Cekin and Tolga Böyük meet each other in 2001 at the age of 15, thanks to a school competition for the best cover song... Before the end of 2009, after Etkin and Tolga bring their bedroom records together, the trio eventually forms itself in İstanbul, giving life to Farfara.
