About Extra Prolific
The Hieroglyphics-related Extra Prolific was basically a solo act, the creation of Duane "Snupe" Lee along with studio cohorts like Domino and A-Plus. His LP debut, Like It Should Be, was released on Jive in 1994. Despite the single "Brown Sugar" briefly creeping into the rap charts, Extra Prolific was dropped from the label. In 1996, he returned with a record (2 for 15) recorded for his own label, Security.
