About Exmisja
EXMISJA is post-hardcore/screamo/crust band from Gliwice, Poland, formed in 2000 in "Krzyk" squat. Their lyrics at first more "direct" and strongly associated with with D.I.Y./ anarchist/ squatters movement soon became more personal, yet still "political" and meaningful. Musical style evolved from chaotic crusty hardcore/punk through emotive crust/screamo to more atmospheric and complex compositions. They were one of first polish bands classified as "screamo", but the band itself never felt attached to any particular genre or style.
