About Etnik Sentetik
The story of the group stretches back to 1995 when Sami Baruh and Mahmut Akyalcin first joined forces and began producing their singularly unique electronic noise. In 1998 together with assisting artists they gave their first performance as Etnik Sentetik at Kemanci Rock Bar, then, Istanbul's leading live music venue. This lead to an ongoing adventure of weekly performances at aforementioned venue, gathering a growing number of fanatic listeners, groupies and dancers, who followed them to concerts, throughout the city / country.
