ETHEREAL COUNTERBALANCE is (and always was) a vehicle for the psychedelic musical experiments of ROD GOODWAY. Begun in 1988, the debut album was recorded in its entirety by Goodway ( under the working title "Holy Smoke" ) but had various instruments including Sitar, Piano, and full drum kit added in the studio by NICK SALOMAN as it was being Mastered prior to its release on the WORONZOW label ( WOO 12 ) in 1990.
