About Etelin
Etelin is Alex Cobb (b. 1983), a musician and publisher based in Cincinnati, OH. Cobb uses synthesizers, field recordings, and other acoustic materials to create music full of richly detailed textures and timbres, finding a balance between spontaneity and intention and naivety and precision. Cobb has released music on labels such as Shelter Press, Root Strata, and The Helen Scarsdale Agency, as well as on his own imprints, Students of Decay and Soda Gong.
