Estacio de Lacerna (la Serna), (Seville, ca. 1570-Peru, after 1616) He was a composer and organist who worked in Spain, Portugal and Peru. He was the son of Alexandro de la Serna, a celebrated singer (low) of the Cathedral of Seville. Estácio succeeded Hernando de Tapia as organist in the collegiate church of S. Salvador de Sevilla, on October 29, 1593. He resigned from this position on March 6, 1595 to accept the same type of functions as organist of the Royal Chapel in Lisbon.
