About Esquirols

Esquirols (1969-1986) was a Catalan folk band born in l'Esquirol, an Osona's village. Known for their compelling political lyrics and their melodies inspired by mountain popular songs and American folk, they were part of the Nova Cançó movement and became the soundtrack of grups d'excursionistes, schools and scouts.
