About Erika Leydig
Erika Suzanne has been singing since she could talk. As a youngster she was enamored by the music of Charles Strouse, Claude-Michel Schönberg, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Arlen-Harburg. However, this passion was not embraced nor was it supported by her very non-musical family. Nonetheless, this was not an obstacle for her. She continued to persevere, teaching herself the guitar, mimicking melodies she heard on the radio and attending UD Davis where she got a degree in Music Composition and a focus in voice.
