
About Ensemble Micrologus
Italy, 1984-present Ensemble Micrologus is an Italian group who specialise in medieval music. Ranging from four to twelve players and singers they feature pure vocal as well as virtuosic instrumental pieces, including both the religious and the profane from 12th to 16th century in their repertoire. The ensemble was originally formed by Patrizia Bovi (vocals and harp), Adolfo Broegg (lute, psaltery and citola), Goffredo Degli Esposti (flute, bombarde and bagpipes) and Gabriele Russo (viela, rebec and lyre).
