There is more than one artist with this name: 1) End Result was a noise/no wave/experimental band formed in Chicago, IL in 1979 by Alan Jones and brothers Ron and Steve Smith. Numerous incarnations of the group existed throughout the years. The band released one record, 1985's "Ward", a 12" EP produced by Big Black bassist Dave Riley and released by Ruthless Records, a label run, at the time, by Big Black's Steve Albini. The band finally split in the beginning of the 1990s.
