Wichita, Kansas, United States (2012-2013) Empty Mantra was an internet-based screamo project of electronic producer Amherst. The debut release, Ep, EP, was released on December 13, 2012 through Immolation Records, and was met with widespread critical acclaim. On April 22, 2013, Empty Mantra’s sophomore release, Untitled EP, was released, along with a message from the group announcing their breakup. On September 3, 2013, a posthumous compilation of b-sides and rarities was released by Immolation Records
