Ema Destinnová, known also as Emmy Destinn (26 February 1878 – 28 January 1930) was a renowned Czech operatic soprano with a strong and soaring lyric-dramatic voice. She enjoyed a successful career in both Europe and at the New York Metropolitan Opera.
