
About Emma Christian
Emma Christian (born 1972) is a prominent artist in the recent revival of traditional Manx folk music. She accompanies herself on the harp, and also plays the recorder. Born in Bride on the Isle of Man, she is an established harp virtuoso and singer in Manx Gaelic. Her musical education was at Chethams School Manchester, before going on to Cambridge University. She has performed extensively across Europe and America. Her CD "Beyond the Twilight" (Ta'n Dooid Cheet in Manx ) was released in 1994.
