About Eldissa
The band is Eldissa. It's the brainchild of Brazilian guitarist, Ecio Parreira and Swiss record producer, Rio. They decided they wanted to make an album of old tunes they loved. But they re-arranged them a bit -- a lot of bossa nova here...a little lounge there. Ecio Parreira and Rio had to find just the right singers for their bossa-lounge arrangements. So they advertised. They got more than 120 demos from all over. They listened to all of the auditions.
