El Diablo Robotico are a country, noise, post-rock band from Brooklyn, NY. Trying to be true to both country traditions and experimental music (most members of the band are formally trained in classical and/or jazz performance but have a personal love of country music as well) El Diablo Robotico are playing a form of "alt-country" that takes both parts of the phrase seriously.
