About Eight Pence Chains
Eight Pence Chains are a duo consisting of West Midlandites Steve Edwards and Gavin Lyon. The pair met whilst studying music technology at a local college. Astounded to discover that they shared a mutual passion for electronic music and hip hop, they began making their own music under their rather curious moniker. Their work neatly consists of many different styles of electronic music, but mainly centres around hip hop, trip hop and drum and bass.
