Edward Sol (a.k.a Edward S.) born 1974, was educated as sound-designer for cinema/TV production at Kiev's University of Theatre, Cinema & TV Arts. He started playing music (usually bass or guitar) in early 90s in various now neglected indie-rock groups and creating soundtracks for short indie movies, utilising tape loops, field recordings and vintage Soviet synths. Some of his sound-works for films won prestige prizes on different Cinema Festivals (incl. Sergey Paradzhanov's Prize).
