About Hum Of The Druid
NOISE project "Hum Of The Druid", the idea of Seattle's digital composer Eric Stonefelt, debuted with the mini-albums Amphibia (2004), Wall Of Arms (2004) and Frozen Tropics (2005), that were still relatively melodic dark ambient music. The fragmented Mountainous (2005) and the more refined Trials (2005) signaled a turn towards expressionist noise, that peaked with the obsessive reverb-drenched suites of Societal (2005). The multi-faceted abrasive drones of Raising The New Wing/Braided Industry (2008) climbed another plateau of violence
