Edita Piekha is a popular Russian actress and singer of Polish heritage. Born July 31 1937, she was the third female singer to receive the People's Artist of the USSR in 1988. Her song, "Nash Sosed" was sampled in the Jedi Mind Tricks' "Blood In Blood Out"
