About Edino Krieger

Edino Krieger is a brazilian composer born in March 17, 1928, in Brusque, Santa Catarina. In his childhood, his father taught him how to play the violin and at age of 14, after a concert in Florianopolis, he got a scholarship of the State's governor, Nereu Ramos. In 1943, Edino went to Rio de Janeiro to study the violin with tEdith Reis in the Brazilian Music Conservatory. In the next year, he started his studies of composition with H. J. Koellreuter.
