EDDIE VAAN SHAW, began his career at the age of eleven….he has been on the road ever since. He was introduced to the guitar by Magic Sam, and was raised on the laps of Elmore James, Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf. Later on, he played rhythm guitar at his father’s club at” 1815 West Roosevelt” in Chicago, backing- up Eddie Taylor, Hound Dog Taylor, Freddie King, Eddie Burke, Otis Rush, Jimmy Reed,Willie Dixon, Koko Taylor, and Albert Collins among others....
