About Eddie Snow
Born in West Memphis, Arkansas, Eddie Snow developed his chops playing the Memphis music scene of the 1950s. He played with B.B. King and Albert King, and even gave some advice to a young Elvis Presley early in his recording career. Steve Adelman, who's been Eddie Snow's drummer for five years, said the people who have been in Snow's bands read like a "Who's Who" on the jazz and blues scene --- people like Son Seals and Big Twist. Snow used to bring current Snowflakes' organist Wayne Carter up on stage as a guest in Memphis back in the 50s.
