
Ed Amann was born and raised in the Akron, Ohio area. Early musical influences were Peter, Paul and Mary, Pete Seeger, The Weavers, Bob Dylan, and other folk artists in the mid 1960's. Ed started performing at The Needle's Eye coffee house in Kent. After a 30 year career playing with various local commercial bands he launched a solo career to seek some recognition for songwriting.
