Luc Hespel also known as Ecoplan was born in St Brieuc in Bretagne ; he grew up in the Charente-Maritime area and started his studies at La Rochelle . In 1997 he took up multimedia studies in Paris and got specialized in webdesigning. Ecoplan has a keen interest for music, not only graphics. Electronica, IDM and Clic'n'Cuts are appealing to him. Influenced by bands like Boards of Canada, The Future Sound of London or Aphex Twin and labels such as Mille Plateaux
