About Earthquake Lights
Founded in New York City, Earthquake Lights are a rock band with a focus on vintage tone and genuine instrumentalism. Their upcoming full length debut maintains a more traditional rock and roll sound in the style of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Beck, and The Who. But the band also draws heavy influences from their classical and jazz backgrounds. Sounds of Miles Davis, Joao Gilberto, and Hank Jones are blended with textures and harmonies from Maurice Ravel and Igor Stravinsky.
