
About Early Music Consort of London
The Early Music Consort of London was founded in 1967 by David Munrow and Christopher Hogwood and disbanded in 1976 after Munrow's untimely death. The group had a tremendous impact on the performance of medieval and early modern music. On an Overgrown Path offers a tribute to Munrow. Hogwood went on to found the Academy of Ancient Music among many other projects.
