About Dully Sykes
Dully Sykes (born Abdul Sykes in 1981) also calls himself Mr Misifa or Mr Chicks is the Tanzanian answer to Akon in terms of creativity. Following the footsteps of his father Ebby Sykes, a "Manu Dibango-type musician", Dully Sykes is one of the pioneers of Swahili dancehall (Bongo Flava) in East Africa and widely known for dropping hits like 'Julieta', 'Salome', 'Historia ya Kweli', 'Leah'. Some of the tracks he has written that have touched the hearts of many especially women are based on true life stories.
