A 3 piece band playing high energy mix of punk ,ska and reggae, from dublin.... THE DUBTONES began in 1999 formed by whelo and longo and two former band mates hughie and gipo from now defunct stigmatamartyr. Lasting barely 14 months and a handfull of gigs the band split but recorded the 14 track "whole new nation demos" but was never released...October 2004 the reformed DUBTONES shaped up with WHELO lead vox & gtr, GIPO bass & vox, NOEL,lead guitar, and new sticksman SWAMPY.
